Sharing a Poll Deck directly from the web version

Currently, we can only share a deck in the web by making it a course. Can we share a deck directly from the web version,
I know we CAN share the deck with polls via the ppt app.
But would be nice to have the former feature as well.
Thanks!

Collaborate on poll decks
G
Garth Lategan
Summary:
We would like to request a feature that allows multiple users to collaborate on poll decks in real-time, similar to how teams can co-edit documents or presentations. This would significantly streamline team workflows, especially during the poll creation, review, and editing phases.
Details:
Currently, poll decks in Echo Poll are tied to a single creator. While this setup works for individual use, it limits teams who need to co-create and refine decks collaboratively. By allowing multiple contributors to access, edit, and comment on the same poll deck, Echo Poll would become a more versatile and powerful tool for teams and organizations.
Suggested Capabilities:
Invite collaborators via email or username
Set permission levels (view, comment, edit, owner)
Real-time editing with presence indicators (e.g., “Garth is editing Question 2”)
Version history with the ability to revert changes
In-app comments or suggestions on specific questions or sections
Use Cases:
Education teams co-creating student engagement materials
HR departments preparing employee feedback surveys
Marketing teams designing public opinion polls together
Workshop facilitators co-developing interactive sessions
Impact:
This feature would foster teamwork, reduce miscommunication, and speed up the poll creation process—especially for distributed teams. It aligns with modern expectations for collaboration in digital tools.

Hi Garth Lategan, have you explored working on slide decks which are included session/assignment in EchoPoll web, that belong to a course with co-instructors? I understand the product team are looking at ways to improve sharing and therefore collaboration on slide decks, however, it may be worth exploring the current approach and seeing what gaps are still missing that you have identified above.

create the ability to share an EchoPoll deck from the web to a colleague for review and editing.

as an admin or an instructor, I need the ability to create a poll deck on the web in EchoPoll and share it with colleagues for review and editing WITHOUT adding to a course or creating a session.

Sharing Content Issues

Customer was not happy about having to share an entire course with instructors when they only want to share a polling deck. Further, it seems they have to make everyone an admin to share content which is not an option as they would like to keep admins and instructors seperate. Also felt sharing content had too many steps and was confusing.

Please enable "true sharing" to ensure that sharing can be chosen/set/prescribed rather than automatic among instructors and Admins.

Sharing poll decks as we can courses

Would be great to be able to share poll decks in the web version in the same way we can share courses.
