Ability to enable automated closed caption submission (CC) at the section level, not just the schedule level.

In ESS there was the ability to submit all recordings uploaded to a section to a third-party CC provider for captioning. In ALP CC submission is enabled at the schedule level which is not useful for Personal Capture recordings, media Import, or SCHD AdHoc captures. Anything other than a scheduled capture needs to be submitted manually in ALP.
As the need for captioned video continues to grow, the ability to collectively submit groups of videos for CC (at the section level) would be a fantastic feature to bring forward from ESS.

Hi all, the ability for a section to be set up for automatic captioning is here! When creating or editing a Caption integration, make sure to choose "Allow Configuration" and then in the Org./Dept./Section settings you can enable automatic captioning and choose the integration of your choice.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are excited to share that this feature is coming and is currently planned as a part of our Q2 release for this year.

I fully agree with this initiative. It seems absurd that there's no bulk selection process to send off non scheduled recordings for captioning, even at the section level, without having to manually go to each physical recording, select details then manually push for captions to be generated. Definitely needs to be implemented in a sensible & practical way.

The lack of this feature is causing us massive grief. We can set "shouldCaption" on scheduled captures, but we can't set this flag on anything that has been uploaded as a Universal Capture (Personal), a Zoom recording, or any media upload.
We don't CC everything -- only those recordings that are for the use of students with disabilities. We are having to go through the list manually.
What's worse: some instructors are uploading material in advance, but not setting a date on the "classroom" to which they are publishing the material. This means the recording is given the publication date of the original recording, and we miss it in our checks.
It would be a huge, huge help if we could just say: everything published to this section should be captioned, regardless of publication date.

I second the request for turning on captioning at the Section level to match how the ESS used to do it. We currently have several users wanting existing recordings captioned and another who is uploading dozens of PCAP recordings throughout semester and all of these have to be done by us laboriously recording by recording.
