Ability to have a Video slide
complete
Video Slides (as in an embedded playable video you can upload in ALP -not with an embed code) - currently only video option is the echo recording not in the slides.
This should work both when the slide deck is uploaded through the web interface or through the ALP PPT ribon. Adding a new video slide through the web interface should also be possible

ALP really needs to allow embedding of ALP personal Library videos rather than solely relying on Embed.ly for Media Slides (to embed video which has to be from sources like Youtube). It looks like Embed.ly now requires paid accounts to embed into anything other than Facebook, Twitter and the like (see attached).
Only being able to upload images directly and not videos off your desktop (or at least from your personal ALP Library) into these Media slides when editing a presentation in ALP seems like quite a glaring missing piece.
Yes, you can have one big long single video track displaying alongside the presentation slides. However, we have lots of lecturers wanting to intersperse their interactive quiz slides with multiple short video clips in the one slide deck particularly for fully online courses so that students can step through video slide, then quiz slide then video slide then quiz slide then ppt slide etc without having to work out when to pause and resume the parallel video track.

Martin Hill: I agree this is a glaring oversight and mean restricts the ability to use the product for asynchronous teaching. I would love to see an improvement in the media slide to allow for the embedding of echo videos into the slide
