Ability to Watch a Video Link Using SSO Credentials Without Being a Student in the Course
complete
In the old Echo, we had the ability to share a link to students and faculty where they had to log in with SSO credentials to view. As of right now, students and faculty have to be a student in that specific course in order to view the video.
Many times, people are wanting to share with colleagues and peers that are not in the course, but we do not want to make the link public. We are needing a way to share a link that anyone with SSO credentials can view without being a student within the course.

Echo Team
With the use of private Section Access Links, Instructors or Admins can generate and share a link to a course that requires authentication but not enrollment in the course.

Would very much appreciate this functioning for live streaming too :)

Yes! Currently Public links to individual recordings do not give the option of SSO authentication and they only work with video recordings, not the Presentation track and all the other Active Learning features like the Discussion tool, Quiz slides, etc.
