Currently only the video "owner" can add public links and access the embed code. Ideally co-instructors for that section would be able to add and access embed code within the section, regardless of video ownership. This could be dependant on the "Co-instructors edits" feature toggle.

Yes please enable co-instructors who do not own a particular video to be able to share with individuals. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are excited to share that this feature is coming and is currently planned as a part of our Q2 release for this year. As we move towards Folders, we are planning on letting users within Sections have more granular content permissions like what you can do today within Collections.

This feature would allow us to delegate management roles to co-instructors rather than relying on multiple small-scale administrator access and the additional support that this requires.
We would benefit from this additional feature especially during large-scale events with multiple departments and organizations self-managing echo captures.

Extraordinarily frustrating not to have this feature - some of us have been going mad with work arounds - the absence of "insert from class" makes it impossible for colleagues to support each other in building resources. The sooner this is enabled the better.

Deb Hoyt
also allow other sharing options please - group and individual.

This functionality is crucial to us being able to support our academics as we often assist them with their course construction but don't have ownership of the videos.

This function would be extremely helpful when the 'owner' for whatever reason is unavailable. When creating IP for an institution, ideally the institution group should be able to access/update and share it for the purpose for which it was created and not be tied to an individual.

I fully support this recommendation. Working with Academic Teaching teams across campuses, it is imperative that all members be able to add, access and embed code to ensure the timely release of content to students. This will also allow me to step in and support academics to do this for academics, when required.
