Allow Students to delete videos submitted to LMS Assignments

As a Student, I need to be able to delete Videos from my library that are associated with a "locked" assignment in the LMS. Even if my Instructor deletes the assignment activity from the LMS, the video on the Echo side remains in a locked state. Only the Admin can go in and delete these videos.
I need to be able to delete these videos once they are no longer needed for the Course because some of the videos may contain sensitive or confidential information.
Could there be a toggle developed or some other mechanism put in place to allow students to delete their assignment based videos from their Echo360 library, please?

Lock removal periods would need to be configurable.
Our Institute is regularly audited for previous years' student engagement; we need to show proof of submission if audited.
