Out of Sync transcripts for edited videos

When I make edits, like chopping or removing portions of a video, the transcript can fall out of sync with the edited video.
I need a simple option/button in the editor to confirm if the transcript text aligns with my video edits, and the possibility of having tags "synced, edited" added to the videos would greatly help.

We have noticed that editing media ingested by Zoom does not update the transcript without us sending this through ASR. Is it possible for the edits and transcripts to match when edited without the need to push through ASR?

An option to realign Closed Captions and Transcripts after editing

Can you please add an option switch/button/warning to realign or reprocess the closed captions and transcripts after a capture has been edited? If this isn't done it is really confusing for the viewer and there's no warning that this needs to be done. A simple button to remove and re-caption the capture would be sufficient.

I agree and this would be a great option.

We have a majority of our intake via Zoom. We cut a lot of silence and problematic spots from many of our videos. These are not saved as new copies. If the transcripts do not match after the edit, then that is a problem. Our goal is to remove accessibility issues from videos, but if it doesn't adapt to our edits, that could introduce new accessibility issues.

Perhaps an admin toggle so institutions can choose whether or not to automatically apply a new transcript AND closed caption after an edit (or other trigger).

Just the closed captions. Just noticed the transcript edits are in line with the video edits.

If the video is ingested from zoom it will never regenerate transcripts - a workaround is to download it and reupload
