In EchoVideo, currently, as soon as the study aid materials are generated by AskEcho, they are publicly available to students. We would like a human decision in the middle of the content generation and the public availability of the content. We can't implement AskEcho, from an institutional policy perspective, until this update is in place.

As of our July 1–2 EchoVideo release, Study Aids are now visible to instructors and media owners by default. This gives instructors the opportunity to review, edit, or remove AI-generated Summaries, FAQs, Study Cards, and Quizzes before learners can access them.
Student access to Study Aids remains controlled by the institution-wide setting, rather than being published individually by instructors. This update introduces the human review step requested here while preserving institution-level control over whether Study Aids are available to students.

I support this, but I would suggest taking a slightly broader approach. Greater granularity over who can generate AI content (staff or students), along with clearer control over the conditions under which that content is released, would be a significant improvement.
