While taking online training, I noticed how the study tools provided instructions after each video module informing me what to do. It sparked several ideas for improving AskEcho Study Aids to make them more intuitive, consistent, and accessible for learners.
Please see the attached sample images that shows directions at the top of each study aid and a few other suggestions that would help improve accessibility. I used a short video that I embedded in the LMS for my samples. Thanks for the consideration. 😊
Ideas
Summary: Reduce the multiple summary headings and add instructions. Add relatable icons to each section so it's not all text.
FAQs: Add instructions telling learners to select a question to expand the panel.
Study Cards: Display cards separately so learners can easily review and revisit them. Add instructions and a visual icon showing that each card can be flipped.
Quiz: Reposition the arrow controls to the middle so they are not blocked by the accessibility icon. See Canny request: https://echo360.canny.io/echo360-feature-requests/p/askecho-study-aids-quiz-accessibility-move-icon-and-controls
