Automatically detect black thumbnails

As an AV Tech responsible for monitoring recording quality, We review many recordings daily. Sometimes, signal failures result in recordings with no video or black thumbnails. Given the volume, we manually scan all captures to identify these videos, which is time-consuming.
An automated feature that could detect recordings with black thumbnails or no signal and tag them for review would allow our team to surface videos with quality issues more rapidly than manually reviewing each thumbnail.
By having the system automatically flag video defects using markers like solid black frames, we could prioritise troubleshooting signal problems and bad recordings vs. checking properly captured recordings. It would optimise our workflow and save time identifying anomalies
