Bring Green Play Button Back

The recent UI update has replaced the green play button that you used to click to start a video within a class with a 'Media' type icon.
We have had feedback that the green play button provided a clearer indication that you have to click it to start a video. 
I understand the button doesn't just play the video, but open details, sharing, publishing options etc. However, is there a way to return the green play button in some form?

I can understand peoples frustrations on this one, but the fact that the "play button" was also the menu button frustrated me just as much.

Maybe adding a button nearer the title of the class as with the Live button when streaming, maybe worded something like "Play On demand"

I actually requested that the green "play" icon be changed. It was causing staff confusion. To play a video, staff needed to click the title of the video, whereas to access the context menu, staff needed to click the "play" icon. This was an inappropriate use of the universally recognised "play" icon.

Please do NOT make this change.

Jeremy O'Reilly: I can definitely understand your frustration with the context menu being within the play button.  I do agree that that was a weird decision.  
However, as you stated, the "play" icon is universally recognized, so we should go back to that.  
That being said, we also need to begin using the universally recognized "menu" icons as well.  Either the "hot dog" or the "hamburger" menu button would work somewhere along the class period line, to let faculty and students alike know that they have options for the materials connected to that class period. :-)

I am not a big fan of the new UI and would love to see the green play button come back!

I also liked the green color used in the old button. Green means "go". I find it harder to tell, if the video is active or not now.
