UTAS has recently raised this in their most recently health check meeting. They want bulk download features to minimise issues that occur when staff delete recordings (accidentally or on purpose)

simplify user interface and batch downloads

The user web interface is poor at best. It is very frustrating to have to manually navigate multiple dialog boxes in order to download the lecture recordings. It would be ideal if there was the option to see all of the videos as a simple list of URLs so one could run a utility such as wget or perhaps offer a batch download option. The frustration with downloading multiple videos as a batch is compounded by the files not having unique names. I navigate through about three dialog boxes only to be offered the file name of "HD1.mp4" for example which is perhaps the least useful filename possible. Please change the system so that there is something unique about the name of file for download. I have found myself spending the better part of an hour downloading lectures and painstakingly naming them only to find that I've downloaded the same file multiple times. Batch downloading of files should not be this difficult and a user interface should not be this infuriating to use. Please address these issues

The plugin at https://geckodm.github.io/ is a great Chrome plugin for Echo360 and would be a invaluable guide on how to natively setup the downloading of multiple lectures.
1/ It retains the date and subject name
2/ allows batch downloading of lectures in HD or SD
I am not affiliated with this plugin but with 4.6/5 stars and 800+ users it has been well recieved
