We would like the links generated for recordings to be non-public by default so staff make a conscious decision to create a link that is accessible to individuals outside of the institution.

When instructors are sharing recordings, they will often see the share options in the library and create a link to share with colleagues. They fail to realise this link is accessible to anyone, not just institutional echo360 users and this could lead to potential data breaches.

This is compounded by the fact the link is then only accessible by the media publishing page, which instructors may no visit routinely.
