Click, Record, Embed - Request for Improved EchoEmbed Workflow in Ultra

Overview:
The current EchoEmbed workflow within the Blackboard Ultra Text Editor (accessed via the Content Market) presents significant usability challenges. While users can access EchoEmbed and record videos using the Browser Capture tool, the process to embed newly recorded content into the current page is unintuitive and inefficient.
Current Issues:
After recording, there is no direct option to embed the video into the page being edited.
Users must return to the original embed option and manually reselect the recording from their library.
Downloading recordings results in separate audio and video files, complicating the process further.
These extra steps are not only laborious but also require additional instructions for students, particularly in video assessment contexts.
Proposed Solution: Implement a streamlined “Click, Record, and Embed” workflow within the Ultra Text Editor. This would allow users to:
Launch EchoEmbed directly from the editor.
Record using Browser Capture.
Immediately embed the recording into the current page without navigating away or repeating steps.
Benefits:
Enhances user experience for both staff and students.
Reduces friction in using EchoVideo for assessments and content creation.
Encourages broader adoption of Echo360 tools within Ultra environments.

The current process is not at all intuitive. I thought there was something wrong with Echo, not that I was missing an additional step.
When you embed upload a video within an activity or resource (in Moodle), you expect it to embed, not to have to complete another step to add it from your library. There isn't any guiding text that it's a 2-step process.

I've had several customers comment about this same workflow issue in their LMSes (Canvas, Moodle). For the 'Create Content' & 'Upload Content' categories within the easy embed modal, you will always have to return to the embed modal & select the new content from the 'Choose existing content' section. This requires 2 steps - uploading/creating content then going back & picking it from the library. This, in their words, is counterintuitive & unnecessary.
