Collections - API and CSV C-R-U-D
defining/designing

Please let us create, read, update, and delete collections, and create, read, update, and delete collection membership through the APIs and CSV functions. Having this facility controlled pretty much exclusively by end-users and at end-user scale is massively restrictive to its uptake.

Additional API Endpoints for Folder Management
N

We would like to have the following CURD API endpoints to manage the folders automatically.

Following endpoints are needed for the folders:
Folders: Add folder management API endpoint (REQUIRED)
Terms: Academic term management with date ranges (ALREADY AVAILABLE)
Sessions: Individual session/class management. (REQUIRED)
Unit: Grouping related sessions together as group (OPTIONAL) Not sure if we need it? How many instructors group their lectures?
User Permissions: Manage user permissions/User Membership in sessions - This might need linking to the existing User permissions
Actions: Add files to the folder endpoint. Should this be the same as library upload. How this will differ from uploading content to library vs uploading content to a folder/subfolder.
Enrolmentv2: endpoint to work with folders/subfolders/sessions (REQUIRED)
Folder Analytics: Usage metrics and engagement data (MUST)
Polling Analytics: Usage metrics and engagement data (PHASE 2)
Please ensure that these endpoints have EXTERNAL FOLDER IDs for integration with other other systems.

Agreed. This would help match the bulk management options available on the course-section-class side of Echo, and if Echo is heading in the direction of collections, then this functionality will need to be developed anyway.
We'd rather not need to ask instructors to spend time annually working through all their subjects by creating collections and adding in members for them. Or have to do this as Echo admins across all subjects and related courses on behalf of instructors.
Thanks

This would be such a time saver as we already have the data to formulate our collection structures and access in our existing systems. Being able to import via CSV or sync would not only reduce the amount of manual work involved, but be better at keeping all the collections and permissions up-to-date.

This will help our large school instructor base, particularly when initially setting collections up.

Please implement this feature as soon as possible as it would be beneficial in setting up collections for different learning areas across our school.
