First, thanks for all the updates you have made to EchoVideo, modernizing features, color theme, and clean, user-friendly layouts.
I wanted to reach out regarding the thumbnails that are shown in poll slides. They no longer are visual representations of what the poll is as shown in https://support.echo360.com/hc/en-us/articles/11077244266509-EchoVideo-Editing-a-Presentation which made it easier for instructors to create/manage their polling slides. Since the update https://support.echo360.com/hc/en-us/articles/11077252369933-EchoVideo-Adding-Polling-Questions-to-a-Presentation faculty members are confused and concerned that something is not loading right. Thus, they reach out for help thinking it’s broken and not working.
Please consider bringing back the visual view of the different poll types, so instructors can identify the slide they need to create, manage, or edit. This enhancement would improve the faculty experience, increase usage of adding polls to presentation or create interactive media.
We are heavily promoting the presentations by adding polls showing the value of using them during class as we are focused on increased in-person usage rather than just hybrid or online classes. I just presented it to new adjunct faculty on Wednesday evening, and they were very enthusiastic! I showed them how to edit and control the slides during class. But if existing faculty that have been creating and editing polls are confused, how can new faculty start using polls? I feel that it needs to be much more visual for faculty and maybe this is coming as part of the parity between EchoVideo and EchoPoll that is in the Roadmap.
Thanks again!
