Enable 'Live preview' for lecturers without live stream

Challenge: Multiple possible input options mean that lecturers are not always sure if the content is being correctly recorded. For UK visa compliance reasons, enabling everyone in the class to see the content live as it is being recorded may not be desired. But disabling live stream view means that even the lecturer cannot check if the content is being captured as expected.
Proposed solution:
Enable a 'live preview screen' (without requiring live stream enabled for the whole class) for the presenter/ lecturers on the course so that they can see what is being recorded and either remedy it in the room or prepare a back-up/ alternative. This could be achieved either by generating a 'private' livestream link, only available to instructors/ schedulers/ admins etc, or by prompting instructors/ schedulers to toggle on/off visibility of the live stream to students at time of generating the livestream.

Thank you for sharing this feedback and detailing your use case. We completely understand the challenge - especially regarding UK visa compliance requirements where broadcasting a live stream to students is restricted, yet instructors still need the confidence that audio and visual inputs are capturing properly in the room.
Before exploring product enhancements, we wanted to check: are your instructors/schedulers currently unable to access, or perhaps unaware of, our built-in monitoring options?
EchoVideo provides two ways for instructors and/or administrators to monitor ongoing VOD recordings and verify active inputs in real time without enabling a student-facing live stream:
Universal Capture: Online (UC: Online): Allows instructors/admins to monitor active captures via a web browser preview via URL.
Universal Capture: Device (UC: Device): Provides direct local network monitoring on hardware/classroom devices via IP address.
Could you let us know if your team has tested UC: Online or UC: Device for this workflow, or if there are specific environment/permission barriers preventing instructors from using these interfaces?

Hannah Petty thanks for the suggestion. We have explored these options but unfortunately none of these would work for our environment. The 1st and 3rd links appear to require Admin-level access, which would need to be granted for every instructor at the institution. The second link describes a scenario where SSO is required (which we do not have for Echo360 at our institution) as well as requiring instructors to know the IP address for each device.
