Add native support for Chromecast and airplay so that I can watch my lectures on the TV while taking notes on my laptop, rather than having to split screen or frequently change between the recording and my notes.

Can EchoVideo be given the ability to cast a capture to a device like via AirPlay or Chromecast? It is helpful when watching a capture to be able to cast it to a larger device like my television for viewing.

Please add chromecast facility - castbuddy used to be able to grab the hd1.mp4 object and cast it but recently that's stopped working. The only option now is to download the video and cast using VLC (or cast a whole tab - yuck)

Echo Team: damn how'd a boilerplate response take 4 and a half years

I have recently noticed that Udemy and Coursera both have presence on Apple TV

Even better (maybe?)...create a streaming channel for the Roku.
Users would login like any of the subscription based channels (e.g. Disney+, HBOMax, etc.) and go through their institution's regular authentication processes. Their account would be saved inside that channel so they wouldn't need to login every time. Once authenticated, their enrolled course content shows on the screen in searchable tiles just like their Courses tab in their dashboard. Content would need to be able to play on the screen just as it would on a computer screen (i.e. all content sources at once).
Or...just make the mobile app able to screencast like you originally suggested :-). Your idea probably takes much less work than my alternative, but still has the issue of only showing one source at a time.
