Enhanced student analytics to show student viewing habits
complete
Would like to see student heat maps that show where in recordings individual students spent their time. Want to use reports to identify student viewing habits. Also want to see time of day individual students viewed content as well as a cumulative report with time of day. This request was previously submitted last spring but adding to User Voice now.

Visual indicator of student activity on video

Detailed
When students are watching a lecture capture it would be useful if there was some visual indicator along the video timeline highlighting peaks in student activity during the lecture. E.g. lots of questions/comments posted.

We would like to see what parts of the video each student see. The management wants to know how much the students use Echo 360 and the instructurs how much they view and what parts.

The heatmap is often a useful tool for demonstrating to lecturers that while some students may not attend class each day, not all students are choosing to forego class attendance in favour of watching the recording from start to finish. The presence of hot and warm spots through the video also provides awareness of content that may need further attention before proceeding too far in the course - very helpful if there are concerns around engagement.

We require our online course to have completed videos. Need to be able to see heat map to chow completion percent also
