We are aware that the option for students to download from an embed is available however there is no option for student download at a granular level.
Is it possible to have the ability to enable/ disable a download option for the embedded player at a more granular level for students?

This one has become a subject of of discussion at our institution again recently, framed under the concern of inappropriate AI usage by students. It would be great if this could be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the roadmap, as I would think we aren't the only institution having these types of discussions :)
I note there are a few other related Canny's -
> Allow enable/disable of 'Q&A' and 'Downloading' of videos shared via Public Links and Embeddable player links
>Prevent Default Downloading of Videos & Transcripts
>Disable video download
>Student downloads - select content
>Enable Download per Class content in the same section
>Granular download permission for unique students
>Ability to disable showing/download of transcription
>Transcript (ASR) disclaimer

I second Carolyn's suggestion. If I may piggyback off this, it would be nice to have the ability to enable or disable 'downloading' when embedding Echo videos in a LMS, similar to other options which are available to users when embedding. Institutional settings allow one to configure downloading of videos in a class, though embedded Echo videos aren't normally in a class so granular controls would be good e.g.
