Currently when you set up gradebook metrics for embedded content a column is created in the LMS gradebook.

However, if you have already made an Assignment in the LMS (our institution uses Canvas) and added points there is already a column. So now you would have two columns.

Working with Echo support previously we know that for the Canvas assignment settings, you must set the Assignment to "not graded" and ensure that you keep the due date, so it shows up on a student's "To Do" list (sidebar of Canvas).

It would be nice if the functionality of the gradebook LMS syncing could be improved.
