We have been looking at ways to leverage more value from our machine-based ASR transcription assets. As part of this evaluation we have looked some of the more advanced features offered by Speechmatics through their APIs.

One feature that caught our attention in particular is Summarisation. This uses natural language AI processing to create summaries of transcripts.

This is something that we would make good use of at our institution. We would love to see it integrated into the EchoVideo platform
