When editing transcriptions, what happens often is a speaker may have a bad mic, and they are put in as multiple distinct speakers at once "Speaker 1" and "Speaker 2" perhaps. As a result, I would then need to one by one edit each of these instances in the transcript, which can be a hassle for longer videos

A feature to merge speakers in the edit speakers menu would be really helpful for this.
