Please have a way of letting us know quickly when students put confusion flags on content in a video.

An expansion on this. As well as proactive notifications (not just in the app), it would be good to have a summary report of confusion flags for each piece of media - a 'call to action' for the academic, so that they can action against the flags that have been placed in the content.

Hey Ranjana, this may help but it’s not an email. You can still get notified on student participation by opting-in for engagement activity notifications and others that are important to you such as knowing when content or transcripts have been successful or have failed and more; in all within your EchoVideo account.
Go to the gear icon > Account Settings> Notifications. To set up and manage notifications view this helpful article from Echo support at https://support.echo360.com/hc/en-us/articles/18669617630605-EchoVideo-In-app-Notifications
After notifications are enabled, you can see them from the bell icon. So, your inbox doesn't get clogged up. For engagement activity notifications when you click on it you are taken directly to the classroom.
Notifications can be cleared or marked as read from the three dots (right of the notification type). Hope this helps. 😊
I also will expand on this (just thought of it).
To the product team: Please consider adding a confusion flag to be seen on the section home page much like you can see for discussion from a class group or class, please see the sample image (excuse the alignment in the mockup). Then, when the flag is clicked on you are taken directly to the Engagement page of the Analytics.

With this have the ability to pick what you get notified for. I think the instructors would like the above, but not at the expense of getting a ton of notifications they don't want, it would just get lost in the mail.
