Currently, with Dynamic Branding enabled, the Player Styles setting for student-roles is hidden, thereby preventing students from selecting Player Styles even for owned-media.
However, Player styles can be selected when embedding the media via the LMS: Rich Content Editor.
To provide students with a more even user-experience, we suggest either:
  1. Allow students to select player styles for their media in EchoVideo, or
  2. Disallow students from selecting player styles when embedding media using the Rich Content Editor.
Especially if the first option is pursued, we also suggeest the following feature:
  1. Implement the option for different players to be limited to different user-roles
