the ability to add a IP camera feed as an input to a Pro device would be a useful addition.
It is possible to add one to a Pod and UC software but not the Pro?

Kathryn Stewart: so might the Pro appliance have enough horsepower/potential architecture support to handle capture of up to 4 simultaneous video channels (HDMI, USB and/or IP) like Quadravision on the UC software? We are currently installing 6 capture appliances in Nursing OSCE rooms that could benefit from more than the current 2 IP cameras in the rooms.

Hi, Martin: I think you are clairvoyant. The hardware team are looking into whether the PROs could support the capture of 4 simultaneous video channels. We should have a good understanding of the potential by next week so I will be sure to revert back to you.

Kathryn Stewart: that’s great to hear Kathryn. Hopefully it is possible as that would make the Pro appliance significantly more valuable for clinical scenarios.
