First, I really like the new editor!
However, since the new editor has come out, we have had multiple needs to replace one of the video feeds with alternate content from a different source.
Example: for an event, I used UC:Classroom to capture two video sources and wireless mics fed into the PC via a USB device. The video sources were: a USB ptz camera of the presenter and the desktop presentation [expecting that the visiting lecturer was going to be using the desktop (like I told his handlers)].
I was also using my Echo360 Pro device to capture the AV Switcher's output and the microphone output to ensure I captured whatever ended up displayed in the room (just in case they didn't listen).
They didn't listen. Now, in one file I have great camera footage of the presenter, PLAIN dektop background footage instead of the presentation from that desktop feed because he used his own device, and pretty nice audio from the usb audio device.
In the other file, I have the presentation (sent from the AV switcher's output and okay audio from the ceiling mics in the room which aren't as good as the wireless mics.
I want to be able to edit the files to replace the bad UC:Classroom desktop feed with the good feed from the Pro device recording.
Reason for this request: I cannot upload a single video file edited in a non-linear editor like Adobe Premiere that allows both video feeds to remain separate.
I am sure others have other reasons. This is just one single example.
Thanks for your time.
