Allow more flexibility in branding

Right now the branding files are "all or nothing" for the institution and applied to all new captures the are published. It would be very helpful to enable a way to have branding enabled at a course or department level so different groups can have different branding (like in EchoSystem). Also, there needs to be a way to test branding in a way that will not affect captures that are published in the mean time. Today when you upload a branding file to the system it is immediately live.

We create video content for 3 different divisions of our university; Online, Extension, and Professional Education. We have custom bumpers for each division. We recently migrated to echo 360 from Kaltura. In Kaltura we had a player for each division. It looks like Intro/Outro Video clips and branding are set at the institution level. Can this be added at the player level instead?

Thank you for your feedback. After reviewing it, we have decided to address some of the points you raised. We plan to focus on custom branding at the Organization level as an initial release to improve our product which is currently on the roadmap for Q3 of this year. All other feedback will be kept on file for future consideration.

Thank you for submitting this feedback. As we have brought two organizations together, each with separate products, we are in process of merging feedback and categorizing it appropriately. During this merging process, we are reviewing each item and moving this feedback back to the under review status until we have completed our review. I will reach back out as we start getting ready to implement this.

We also have run into the issue of needing to upload content that is already branded/already has a copyright notice, and do not want a second branding/copyright notice applied (but still want other captures to have it applied). Having to manually edit the second notice out of all of these captures is tedious.

Excellent suggestions. A "development" or "test" system with at least a little bit of content would be nice for testing.
