Folders in EchoExam

I would like to be able to organize my tests into folders. I have a LOT of tests, and it is hard to find the one I want when I cannot organize them by course (or other category).

Print from My Courses tab

For those planning to print assessments, there is no way to file or group the created tests by subject/course. The "My Courses" tab does this neatly enough if you could print from there. It appears that the only option for printing is from the "My Library - Tests" tab.
Another option would be to create the option of building custom "Test Banks." That would give you "Tests" and "Test Banks" similar to the existing "Questions" and "Question Banks." Instead of housing individual questions, the "bank" would house tests and quizzes.
I guess this is just a request for some kind of a file structure for those planning to print tests.

Would like to be able to create a folder for question banks from each different subject I teach----for example---a folder for my Biology, a Folder for Chemistry, etc.....

Resource Banks

Some courses will require significant amounts of Resources that will be regularly reused (eg; chemistry equations). Having folders to divide these up into will make finding the correct ones much easier and more user friendly.

I have the same issue. Makes no sense not too have folders to store tests and to be able to upload an entire folder rather than individual banks or tests.

I name mine according to subject matter and chapters. For instance, I have "MS Exam 1 (Ch 1-5)" for my first med surg exam. Then, when I'm looking for something specific, I can order them according to name and see all my medical surgical nursing exams in one place. This is not a perfect fix, but it may help you as you wait for them to create a folder system.

StephanieSonnier, thank you! That is what I have done also for now!

Having some kind of hierarchal file structure---perhaps similar to desktop ExamView---is absolutely needed.

Wonderful! Folder support is part of our 2024 roadmap for EchoExam. This feature will cover folders for question banks as well as tests, resources, and other types of content.
