Ability to edit/delete Notes from Reader if the original content is no longer on the page

As a Reader user, I would like to be able to edit/delete Notes from the NoteBook even if the original content has been removed by the Author (no longer showing in Reader). Currently, the only way to edit/delete notes is via the content itself on the page (but if the content is no longer on the page, there is no 'edit' and 'delete' button).
