Edit existing dynamic team rules to change grouping attribute

As a Habitat author/administrator, I'd like to be able to add and change values to be combined in existing dynamic team rules so that we can combine equivalent values that show up at a later stage.
We have many dynamic teams that are based on company names of our clients. This information comes from a CRM system and is dependent on user input. Since they don't always fill in company names in exactly the same way, discrepancies arise and users may be divided into separate teams even though they should be in the same team. (E.g., one team called 'Echo360', one called 'Echo 360', and one called 'echo3 60'.)
These discrepancies keep occurring after the dynamic team rule has been created, due to which we are unable to combine these values afterwards. So we need to keep recreating the rule, which is cumbersome. With this feature, we'd at least be able to edit values to be combined, allowing us to intervene more easily when the need arises.

Good news! When creating a Dynamic Team Rule, under "Group users into teams", you can click "Combine Values". This will allow you to associate multiple values for the same field (ex. "manager", "team manager", "store manager", etc.) into a single value ("manager").

Hi Josh Maccombs. Apologies, it seems I did not state my request clearly. Yes, it is possible to combine values when creating a team rule. However, I am looking for a way to edit an existing team rule to combine values. Currently this is not possible, and the only way to combine values for an existing team rule is to delete the team rule and recreate it from scratch to include or edit combines values.

Luc Swaan: Thanks Luc, that is helpful context! You are correct that existing team rules cannot be updated in this way today. I've updated the Canny request title and description to note that this pertains to existing team rules, and marked it as "Being Evaluated".
