We use NFS mounted drives and PointSolutions requires being installed on an "Applications" folder on the local drive. We would like PointSolutions to support NFS drives.

Thank you for sharing this idea with us. We can see the value in this request, but it is not something we are actively prioritizing on our current roadmap. We are marking it as Deferred for now, which means we may revisit it in the future as our priorities evolve and we continue to evaluate customer needs.

More specifically, we want to have PointSolutions to work with NFS-mounted home directory (network volume) on Mac. I think the problem comes from PointSolutions trying to save the preference etc. to the home directory as a user which isn't the actual user of the application. For example, the root/admin user is not allowed to write to NFS server for the obvious security reason. This shouldn't be a difficult fix.
