Currently, if a student changes their email address in Canvas before creating a PointSolutions account, the system generates a pending user in PointSolutions with that updated email. When the student later signs in for the first time through SSO, their account is correctly created under the institution’s official email domain (for example, @ tennessee.edu ). The student can still connect their Canvas account without issue, but the original pending user record is left behind. Requested Enhancement: Update the process so that when a student successfully creates their SSO account and links to Canvas, any related pending user record is automatically removed or reconciled.
