Please add the transcript to the video player used in a collection. Transcripts and captions are both needed accessibility tools. If other tools can be added, like student notes or discussion, even better. Also in general... Instructors need improved ways to share specific content with specific students, not the entire class. This solution needs to include both transcripts and captions. A collection is one way to achieve this, but the CMS could be better in this regard. The "share" function at a media level is insufficient, because it displays media details and activity that a student should not see. The student transcript editor cannot be turned off at a media-level, only at a section-level. Also, the transcript is missing from that player too. URL links are a possible way to achieve this (including transcript + captions), but there is no restriction on who can view that link. I cannot restrict viewing to only a specific email address.
