As an admin I would like to be able to configure my folders ahead of time and link LMS courses to existing folders. I would like to be able to do this on behalf of my instructors or to have the instructor do it.

Currently only the video "owner" can add public links and access the embed code. Ideally co-instructors for that section would be able to add and access embed code within the section, regardless of video ownership. This could be dependant on the "Co-instructors edits" feature toggle.

As a student I'm finding it hard to see where I can access my notes and study guide etc. other than in individual video's in session. Being able to see all my notes, bookmarks, summaries etc that are linked to the specific videos would be advantageous similar to what is available in a course section previously.

Please let us create, read, update, and delete collections, and create, read, update, and delete collection membership through the APIs and CSV functions. Having this facility controlled pretty much exclusively by end-users and at end-user scale is massively restrictive to its uptake.

As part of our institutional policy, we have defined a retention period for all content inside echo360. At the moment this requires staff resource to manually delete all content that is at the end of that retention period. It would be nice to have a toggle which can be enabled at institutional level allowing us to define a period of time to keep content for and then have it deleted automatically once that has lapsed.

As an AV Tech responsible for monitoring recording quality, We review many recordings daily. Sometimes, signal failures result in recordings with no video or black thumbnails. Given the volume, we manually scan all captures to identify these videos, which is time-consuming. An automated feature that could detect recordings with black thumbnails or no signal and tag them for review would allow our team to surface videos with quality issues more rapidly than manually reviewing each thumbnail. By having the system automatically flag video defects using markers like solid black frames, we could prioritise troubleshooting signal problems and bad recordings vs. checking properly captured recordings. It would optimise our workflow and save time identifying anomalies
