I use EchoVideo to share slides. Each slide has the option to hide a slide from student view by clicking on "hidden slide" when you hover on the top of the slide. I reveal each slide one by one, thereby allowing students to go back to previous slides without skipping forward to slides that have not been reviewed. Problem: Once all the slides have been unhidden, I need to go back and manually hide each slide one by one the next time I present the slides. Solution: Create a one-button option to hide all the slides at once.

Why can't I see the time of each recording for the entire list of recordings for a class. This is a very important feature that is missing and must be added ASAP. otherwise , this program has issues. Also, there needs to be an option to remark a class as ""unwatched" so it can be easily seen and returned to later. Also , there needs to be a place for notes on the list page so the student can have a quick reference note for each video or possibly renaming thefile name. this helps plan the time needed to listen to each class without having to open it up.

Currently when a video is embedded the Discussion toggle is on by default. We would like to request that this be off by default. This will then allow academics to switch this on if this is something they wish to use as opposed to having to remember to switch this off each time they embed.

EchoVideo Polls -Allow users to re-try a multiple-choice question if they get the answer wrong.

As a student, I want to be able to take notes against media that's been shared as embedded media in my LMS. I want to be able to search those notes.

As an Instructor, I would like to set my Weighted Engagement to: 50% Attendance and 50% Polling % Correct. "Activities" in the weighted engagement gives credit for answering the polling questions, but does not consider correctness. I use the Weighted Engagement as a metric I export to the LMS gradebook and this would be a very helpful metric to have available in grading.

For multi-choice polls, the current behaviour allows students to select multiple responses as there can be multiple correct answers in some MC polls. However, in the case of a MC poll that has only one correct answer, student’s attempt is marked as not correct if they have selected multiple answers (incl correct answer). This is confusing for students and for instructors when marking. Thanks

Will there be an ability for students to take notes inside EchoVideo that receive timecode references during a scheduled lecture capture that is presented live in a lecture hall, BUT IS NOT BEING LIVESTREAMED? Timecoded notes works with On Demand lectures and Live Streamed lectures, but notes contain no timecode when taken during a scheduled lecture that has an otherwise empty classroom. Also, if the professor has uploaded a slide deck, the notes will only contain slide deck connections, but still no timecode. The classroom slot knows it is "live" at a given time (as evidenced by the symbol next to the current live class period in the Section view), and it knows how long the recording is scheduled to run, so I'm wondering why the notes that someone might take in the otherwise empty classroom are not being timecoded at that time so they correspond with the processed video later?

I don't use video in every week of my courses. I need to be prompted i.e. reminded to look in Echo when the students interact with the embedded polls in my video. I work primarily in the LMS. I've asked the class a question and they deserve some kind of acknowledgement from me after they've responded. A daily email notification would work for me. I teach fully online courses.

Instructors in STEM courses are interested in the ability to format text when creating polls, and for students to format text in their short answer responses. Scientific notations can often require things like subscript or superscript or other rich text formatting. Specifically instructors have requested this ability for engagement polls, but I imagine it would also be beneficial with Q&A discussion.
