EchoPoll

As an administrator I would like to be able to see Active users vs. inactive users - in other words, once we set them up with an account, how much/how often are they using it? Daily, once in a while, or logged in once and never again, etc.? As part of this we are really looking to see a big-picture percentage: We set up 100 users with accounts but 15% of them never logged in or are only occasional users, or maybe it’s 99% of them use it every day, etc.

Not sure if this is possible or even useful but it might be interesting to see which ones are grading EchoPoll participation vs. just tracking it or using it as a participation “all or nothing” grade.

What is the functionality our customers are using in EchoPoll: attendance, live in-class polls, or both? Again, I don’t need to know this on an individual basis necessarily, but in aggregate percentages across all MH instructor accounts. Might also be interesting to correlate this data to the first one - of the percentage of frequent users, what are they using it for, vs. occasional users, etc.? (I assume attendance will mostly be daily/power users but I’m curious if those folks are also using the in-class polling functionality.)

As an instructor, I would like the opportunity to disable the Chat function when creating/running an EchoPoll session. This is especially important when I am using the Guest-Public join mode, as the Chat can become unmanageable (particularly with large cohorts) and is open to abuse.

I would like if EchoPoll had a mobile app for students to use. This would streamline the experience as students currently find it confusing that there is no dedicated mobile app.

As an instructor, I would like the ability to export the responses to polling question, either as a CSV file or directly to the LMS gradebook

It would be nice to be able to remove a question that students all got the wrong answer within a polling session.

This would allow for review and studying

Preferences can be set to 'no chart' before pressing the play and then pressing show chart once a poll is closed to ensure responses don't influence others, but then it requires remembering to show chart to show results, then hide the chart ready for the next poll and repeat the steps. It would be good to have the option of the question options appearing on the screen without the responses being displayed while a poll is open.

I would like to be able to change the points assigned to each question and to be able to delete questions from a completed session after the session is complete. Since the default points are always 1 for correct and 0 for incorrect, I occasionally forget to modify them to my standard points. And since polling autostarts for every questoin, students occasionally respond to questions that open just because I'm going back in the slide deck to display a previous slide.
