Students and staff are becoming increasingly more comfortable watching vertical or square video due to Tik-Tok and instagram etc. they are also viewing the content more and more on phones. (you can check the stats on that) Can we make it so a vertical or square player style can be used or made selectable? We can have the closed captions and controls appear over the bottom 1/8th. We can upload vertical videos but the players stay in widescreen and when viewed on a phone they become tiny.

I would like to be able to download a PIP view of the lecture that is identical to the view on the website. Our school has one camera on the presentation and a second on the professor. I download the videos and be able to download a single video that combines the two videos into one.

Please consider speeds to 2.5x and a speed bar that allows adjustments back to 0.1 instead of the 0.25 as it currently is.

Our instructors welcome the ability to embed Echo360 content in the LMS (Moodle) via the button in the text editor, but this only allows embedding of content in the user's personal library, not in courses/sections. Most of our scheduled recordings are in courses/sections and users who are instructors in that course/section and LMS course will want to embed, but these users only rarely have the item also in their library. This causes problems, as peopel are not able to find the right content to embed. Additionally, instructors are embedding content from their library to an LMS course, but if a student navigates the course on Echo360, they can't find all of the videos, because some are in fact not in the course, but in an instructor's library. THere are often many instructors to a course, and many of them are sessional staff. This makes long-term management of content difficult. Please add the ability to embed content "from my courses". This could be controlled by an institution setting "allow instructors to embed from their personal library / any course where they are instructor / both".

Instructors can use the Easy-Embed button in the atto editor to share existing content. One additional feature we would like is to be able to see and embed scheduled recordings for a course using the same embed feature. Many of our instructors would like to be able to set up the embedded videos for scheduled recordings of a class at the start of the semester when they're building out the rest of their course, rather than having to go back into the course after each recording has been processed to add it.

As an Admin or Instructor, I need to be able to Share video content with other individuals for a set time range. This removes my need to go back to the MDP after time has passed and manually remove that Share to that individual. As an example, I may need Share video content with another Instructor at the start of the Term and then have it auto-revoke that Share (and remove it from that User's library) after the Term ends.

As an instructor, I sometimes want to direct my students to watch a piece of media in the section's class list from the LMS - I don't want to embed the media in the LMS, as I don't want to track the analytics separately. At present, there's no way to send students directly to a class playback environment from the LMS. Appreciate that this might not be fixed for classes/sections but it would be good to have the feature considered for when folders is introduced, i.e. from an LMS page, link to an individual piece of media in a folder without having to re-embed.

Current Behavior: The new Live player has two modes: remote and personal. The video is switched on by default when logged in to the personal view. Requested Change: As a personal attendee, I would like the video switched off by default when I join a session. This is particularly important for large classes, where users want to view slides and take notes without the distraction of the primary video. This feature will enhance the experience for attendees who prefer to focus solely on the presentation, especially those seated at the back of large classes. Proposed Default Setting Start with the primary video off for personal attendees.

Currently when we embed audio media in an external site, the full sized video player is displayed with a poster image to indicate that the media is audio only We would like a dedicated, cut-down audio player when embedding audio media, that shows just the timeline and not a poster image This would be similar to the single-song audio widgets for SoundCloud and Spotify

When live streaming a class. Have the option to stream to outside tenant participants and not post to a class-have a link to send out for people to join. For example a graduation or University event that may have guests attendees such as colleagues from other schools, friends, and family etc...
