As an EchoExam user, I often import content into EchoExam using RTF files or question banks. Sometimes after importing, I realize the content did not come in as expected and I need to delete and reimport it. The challenge is that if I did not assign specific metadata to that content beforehand, it becomes very difficult to identify which questions were just imported. This can lead to duplicate questions if I reimport, and the system adds “Copy” to question names, which creates confusion and extra cleanup work. It would be extremely helpful if EchoExam could automatically apply a metadata tag to imported questions using the name of the source file. This would allow instructors to easily filter, locate, and manage recently imported content. This feature would also improve workflows when building exams, since instructors could quickly filter questions by import source when selecting items for a test.
