GoReact

Used in Teacher Education at the UofU, learners have expressed interest in receiving feedback on different domains not covered by the AI Assistant criteria selected by the instructor for the activity. Possibly allowing learners to select additional AI Assistant criteria, specific to their learning goals, in addition to what the instructor has selected. Per Udita "Students expressed interest in receiving AI feedback that is more customized to their individual needs rather than generic feedback based on preset tags. Specifically, some students wanted feedback in domains that were not originally included in the available tags, such as questioning techniques, attention to diverse learners, assessment practices, or connection with students. They requested the ability to focus AI feedback on particular areas relevant to their own teaching goals."

Using GoReact for live patient observations, they would like to have submission deleted after 30-days. This is currently handled manually as an archive, but is still visible to the students within their archive and is not auto deleted. Potential to "flag" submissions that should not be deleted until reviewed further.

Client contact indicated it would be helpful if our AI Assistant could respond to replies on the AI feedback left by other parties involved in the feedback cycle. Currently, while replies can be left on the AI Feedback, the AI Assistant does not engage to those comments. The ability to reply and engage with the AI assistant could provide learners with the opportunity to clarify the feedback or potentially point out context that AI Assistant might not be aware of to help reshape feedback being offered.

The ability to arrange automated recording scheduling and start/stop of GoReact videos in a Lab setting. Similar to the way automated recording is done in EchoVideo currently.

Enterprise/larger client is requesting the ability to disable the GoReact Advance AI Trial and Upgrade messaging within GoReact for instructors within their institution. They understand that this is a feature that other programs/institutions may benefit from to raise awareness that the option exists, but for a site-license that has explored/discussed AI/Advanced with their Go-To-Market representative and determined its not feasable to purchase, it creates confusion for instructors that then require internal team members to address.

As an instructor considering GoReact Advanced, I’m concerned about the impact of immediate access to AI-generated transcripts on student reflection and learning. When transcripts with timestamps are available from the start, students may rely on external tools for analysis rather than engaging directly with the video, which is especially problematic early in a program when reflection skills are still developing. It would be helpful to have the ability to hide or delay access to the transcript within a GoReact activity until students have completed an initial reflection or analysis, and then make it available as a support tool if needed.

At the activity level, it would be great to be able to engage with the AI prior to the students accessing the activity so that the AI feedback is properly targeted to the assignment. For example, in health sciences, students are taught how to deliver bad news. There is a checklist of things that the student is expected to go through, and if this could be shared with the AI prior to the activity being released, it would help to ensure that the feedback being given is properly targeted to what the instructor is examining.

If the AI Feedback could also analyse things from the audio such as tone of voice and cadence of speech, that would be very helpful. In a counselling scenario for example, the student might say all the right things but delivery and tone of voice is key.

The AI feedback and the speech pattern analysis data in GoReact is great but it would be even greater if there was a summary given for each video, something that provides highlights from across all analysis that's been carried out.

One of the challenges of video-based online assessments is validating that the student on camera is the student who is being assessed. With large cohorts of students and online learning, the instructors/examiners will not always know the student. If there was an AI capability that could validate the student against their ID card that they present on screen, that would be incredibly helpful.
