Need a feature to tie student owned media to their student account so that when we delete students after graduation, their media is not orphaned. This creates double work. Can we be presented with a page of files to check or uncheck to keep when deleting a user?

Users have requested the ability to make simple audio adjustments, specifically: Boosting or lowering audio levels for recordings where the microphone input was too low or too high, without needing sophisticated editing tools. Muting short sections of the audio track (for instance, to prevent sensitive information or PII from being included in shared videos), rather than removing the entire audio track, which currently causes technical issues with video/audio synchronization.

When using AskEcho, I can delete individual FAQs or quiz questions, but there’s no option to remove an entire activity at once. If the generated content isn’t right, I have to manually delete each item, which is time-consuming and interrupts my workflow. It would be helpful to have a simple way to delete a whole activity in one action, with a confirmation step to avoid accidental deletion. We embed media in a web page. The embed codes generated by Echo do not include a 'title' attribute. Including title is web accessibility best practice ( https://dequeuniversity.com/checklists/web/iframes ) I also can't edit the live embed codes in Echo, so I have to go in and edit the html in each page where the video is embedded if I want them to be fully accessible. Can we get 'title' added when we generate iframes?

This request relates to multiple media recordings and a presentation added to a section class. Recently, I've been working with faculty, and they have been adding the related PowerPoint presentation to an in-person classroom lecture. However, they also want to be able to add multiple shorter recordings to a class. Use case: Instructors can add multiple recordings to a single EchoVideo section class allowing students to view content in shorter-topic focused segments rather than a long recording and also have the related slide decks in the same class. This would eliminate them having to combine multiple recordings into one or have to create multiple classes or Class Groups on the section home page. Accessibility: Benefits For students the shorter captioned videos being accessed in a single EchoVideo section class would be easier for student learning because they can search the transcript, navigate quicker, and rewatch content as they need to (take notes, bookmark, flag, etc.). Note if this is not possible, please consider allowing the ability to embed videos from your library into a media slide. Please add a way for Echo admins to identify videos that originated from Moodle assignment workflows. Admins need to be able to see which EchoVideo media items are assignment-related so they can handle retention, storage, archiving, reporting, and clean-up more effectively. Useful improvements would include: an assignment-linked indicator on media Moodle course/activity metadata on the media record admin search/filtering for assignment-linked videos reporting/export for retention and audit workflows This would make student video submissions much more manageable at the admin level, especially for institutions with retention policy requirements.

It would be helpful to have a Enable/Disable toggle for AskEcho. We are not authorized to enable the global setting in our tenant. Instructors want the ability to opt-in / opt-out of using the AI tools at the course section level.

Our institution has a K12 division, and they use Google classroom. they woudl like to move over from their currentprovider, and need an integration with this system to do so.

We would like AskEcho to have configuration settings for what is available and when it is available. We would like to be able to change what threshold it is available at and control it for the different parts of the AskEcho content.

We need improvements to the Admin Dashboard asset report to make it usable for operational analysis without relying on the API. Currently, the UI export is capped at 10,000 records, which prevents us from accessing full datasets for reporting and auditing purposes. This limitation means we cannot reliably analyse usage trends, identify gaps, or support service improvements directly within the platform. We would like to request: Removal (or significant increase) of the 10,000 record export cap The ability to customise the dashboard view (e.g. column selection, filtering, and sorting) More flexible export options that reflect the filtered dataset shown in the UI At present, the API has been suggested as a workaround, but this is not a viable solution for all users or workflows. We need these capabilities available directly in the UI to support day-to-day operational use.
