Would it be possible to please update the capture API to allow the ingest of extra fields, such as descriptions and tags, when importing media from other systems (such as in a migration) & map them to the appropriate metadata fields in EchoVideo.

It would be really useful if our techniciians and admins could download or view logs from appliances and Universal Capture Classroom devices directly from the UI rather than logining directly to the device. This would speed up the fault resolution time and potentially make the network firewall configuartion simpler.

Mask user or login in as a user to troubleshoot from the users perspective

As an Admin, I need to make some of my Admins DA. When I do this, those Users will only see the content that is published to the Course/Section and Org/Dept the media is published to after they are granted the DA role in the hierarchy. Please make this retroactive for those DA users so they can see the media that is published to an Org/Dept before they were granted the DA role.

Hi, while there are API and authenticated launch for POD controls, we still have use case where legacy POD UI is launched via https://ip.address/ and enter the generic username=instructor and password=set password to control the recording POD pause/resume/start/stop However this page is still in the legacy UI and not updated to the current web interface. Please consider updating this page as the look and feel is outdated and may not look nice ib modern web browsers. Thanks

The 'Missing Audio Input' email alerts are a useful source of information in detecting quality issues ( https://support.echo360.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038310432-EchoVideo-Customized-Administrative-Alerts ), but we are receiving a frustratingly high volume of false-positive alerts in scenarios when a scheduled capture has been manually paused for more than 10 minutes. I can’t think of any customer value in receiving alerts in this scenario, as whatever is happening during the paused section won’t be recorded, so no action needs to be taken. These false-positives are reducing the overall value of the ‘Missing Audio Input’ alerts feature.

Currently, it is very time consuming to add a user to several Collections using the GUI. I can think of two ways to improve this process. First, you could increase the color contrast between already selected Collections and unselected Collections, as it's difficult to tell the difference quickly (see attached screenshot). Alternatively, remove already selected Collections from the drop-down menu completely, as they are no longer an option that should be able to be selected. Second, allow for the selection of multiple Collections at once. In my example, I need to add a user to 32 different Collections, which is a lot of selecting, scrolling, and clicking.

In many systems it is possible to force a users password to be reset in case of a security issue. But this is not the case in Echo. While most users in Echo will use SSO, admin users are forced to enter a local password the first time they come into Echo via a Blackboard LTI link (there may be other situations as well). Not having some way to reset an admin users password presents a risk to users privacy and the whole system as deleted content cannot be restored.

Ability to configure a minimum duration for Zoom meetings to be ingested. Currently, EchoVideo only has the ability to ignore publishing of Zoom meetings that don't meet the minimum duration (sec) set for meetings that have multiple segments.

When a course and sections are created in the tenant it would be a nice feature to have a folder autogenerated and cascaded according to org/dept configuration. ie School (Root Folder) --> Course --> section
