It would be very helpful if I could access log files on my own without having to request them from support. This would reduce the number of support calls and make troubleshooting more efficient.

I would like to have the ability to track offline viewing of downloaded media. This would help me understand if students are engaging with the content even when they are not online.

To enhance the user experience and optimize administrative workflows, we propose the integration of an automated data snapshot feature. This feature will enable our administrators to schedule and generate CSV exports conditionally, ensuring efficient data backup and administration. Currently, the process of generating CSV exports on Echo360 is done manually by our admins everyday, which may lead to inefficiencies, potential human errors, and time investment. To continue the process of making frequent data snapshots, automation is imperative to streamline operations. Proposed Solution: We propose the development of an automated data snapshot feature that will allow users to schedule and request CSV exports conditionally. This feature will enable administrators to set up a routine backup schedule, ensuring that critical data is consistently and automatically exported without human intervention. Benefits: Time and Resource Savings: Automation eliminates the need for manual intervention, freeing up staff for more strategic tasks. Error Reduction: Human errors in manual data export are mitigated, ensuring data integrity. Data Continuity: Scheduled exports guarantee regular data snapshots, reducing the risk of data loss in case of unexpected events. Improved Compliance: Ensuring data availability for compliance requirements becomes effortless. Enhanced User Experience: Automation simplifies the data export process, making it more user-friendly and accessible.

Instructors can currently download a CSV file containing the overall activity score for all classes in their course, but not the detail for each question. For presentations containing multiple questions, there may be value in further analysis of how a student answered each question (eg. specific answer choices for a multiple choice question), rather than just an overall score. For example, knowing a student achieved 4 out of 5 questions correct is broadly helpful. It's possible to view each question individually online to find out which response the student selected for the incorrectly answered question, but this is time consuming and unwieldy in a class with several questions, and several hundred students. The ability to download this information in a CSV file would dramatically speed up analysis.

One of the exciting features of consolidated analytics is pulling together the data of both embedded media in an LMS and directly from EchoVideo. To take it a step further, it would be really handy to have a filter that lets you isolate the analytics from embed views and from EchoVideo views so we can better understand how users are engaging with our media.

Some of our students raised a feature request that I think merits consideration--they would like it if Echo360 shared video analytics with them. In this particular instance, their attendance/participation is tied to their viewing of lecture videos posted by the instructor to the LMS. The students wondered why there is no visual confirmation shown to them notifying them, "You watched 100% of the lecture, i.e. you completed the assignment." Once an instructor has weighted their analytic tracking, it would be great if that info were shared with students as a form of rubric for their interaction with Echo360 media in their courses.

Kia ora koutou, We've recently been asked to provide data on cumulative logins to EchoVideo; however, after some digging and advice from support, this, unfortunately, is not something that is possible via API reports. We're able to use other systems (such as our LMS - Blackboard) to generate Snowflake reports containing data of interactions with Echo links within Blackboard (and therefore 'logins'). However, we'll miss out on what I suspect is a large number of users who access Echo directly (via echo360.net.au ). Not only this, but we also have pockets of other LMS use, so what we pull from Blackboard SQL reports is far from an accurate representation of Echo logins across the University. It'd be great if this were added as an API report that we could run or even something offered in the monthly data reports. If it were able to be broken into student and staff logins (or student vs. non-student) that'd be fantastic. It would be great if we could access player events via the reporting API - e.g. play, pause, skip, turning captions on/off etc, for each user session, along with timestamps. A viewing session with a high number of play/pause events is potentially of a different quality to one that has fewer. One that has long periods between pause and play events is different to one with short durations between them. If we could see across sessions and videos how users interact at this level that would be a treasure trove of data. This, alongside the existing second-by-second viewership data would be great to see.

It'd be great to add a column that shows where the video was played from. E.g. embedded player, section (folder now I guess), echo website etc. Even maybe the referring URL would be helpful?

Please generate an ASR confidence score for an institution. This should also include Org Unit breakdown to the section level so that individual sections can determine their own ASR confidence score.
